  • Charles W. Morgan
    Built in 1841, in New Bedford, America’s major whaling port. Whale products were in high demand for use as candles, whale oil lamps, cosmetics, buggy whips, canes, parasols, and corset stays. She completed her last whaling voyage in May 1921.

    Built in 1921 in Essex, Massachusetts, the fishing schooner L.A. DUNTON. Her career was spent sailing out of Gloucester and Newfoundland until 1963 when Mystic Seaport acquired and restored her.
